The Shortest Decade: Addressing the Coming Climate Crunch

The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has been unequivocal: without significant action to limit global warming to a 1.5 degrees, humans will increasingly suffer from the effects of extreme weather events, disease and the loss of habitable land. Canada simply cannot achieve its climate goals unless the government can successfully establish the investment environment that will allow Canada’s business community to offset emissions elsewhere through energy products. Canada’s business community will be a driver in effective and responsible climate action. We hope our policy makers will be able to say the same.

Hello Ottawa Valley Vendor!

You are invited to participate in the 2020 Bliss Wedding Show in Renfrew

 Sunday, January 12 2020

The focus of BLISS wedding shows is to provide local couples with the opportunity to meet local, Ottawa Valley Based wedding vendors. To be inspired by these local vendors and to be informed that all of their wedding dreams can be fulfilled right here, locally.

Kelly and I are happy to announce that this year we will be coordinating the Bliss Wedding show!

We will be keeping much of the show the same but will be adding our own flare to maximize exposure for all vendors involved.

A few of these changes include but are not limited to:

- Streamlined, online ticket sales/ bridal registration

- Live music

- Interactive exhibits and events to keep couples interested and at the show longer, And

·    A VIP lounge

·    A vendor information section on the webpage that will link to your webpage so that brides can easily contact you.

The first 5 vendors to fully register will receive 2 VIP tickets to give to clients/ potential clients.

Please take advantage of our new webpage:

Facebook event page:

(the more these are shared around, the more potential business we all get)

A vendor information package is attached to this email.

If you are a vendor that is unable to attend the show but would still like exposure for $20 you are welcome to include any pamphlets or information in the “loot-bags”.

You are encouraged to register early so that we have a larger budget to spend on advertising, which in turn will lead to higher attendance by brides at the shows.

After December 6th, we will also open up registration to those businesses outside of the Lanark, Renfrew County and surrounding area. We always have a waiting list of Ottawa based wedding businesses that are interested in becoming vendors at our shows.

We look forward to another great show, and should you have any questions, please feel free to contact either Kelly or myself.

Warm wishes for another successful wedding season in 2020!
